This morning I was busy with a gift and card for a wedding shower. I bought beautiful pilsner glasses that the couple had chosen for their registry and added a glass etched monogram to the side of each glass. I designed the monogram in Cricut Craft Room using the font from the Winter Woodlands cartridge. I cut the monogram from self adhesive vinyl, attached the vinyl to the glasses with the help of washi tape strips, and then applied glass etching cream to the negative spaces. It was a little hard to get a good picture of the etching, but I think you can get the idea.
While I was waiting for the etching cream to perform its magic, I made a card to accompany the gift. I wanted to incorporate the same monogram letter on the card that I used on the glasses. This is what I came up with. The colors of the wedding are gray and yellow. I used two different embossing folders, and cuts from the Artiste and Sweethearts Cricut cartridges. Have a great day!
