Thanksgiving Pumpkins

Hello Friends!

It’s November already and November means Thanksgiving and yummy pumpkin pie!  This week on Bitten by the Bug 2 we were challenged to use a Cricut pumpkin cut on our projects.  I chose to use the pumpkin from Artbooking by Close To My Heart and frame it with a cut from The First Few Years.  This card came together so quickly and I think it will be perfect as a special Thanksgiving greeting for someone special.

I am a huge fan of the Autumn color palette of reds, oranges, yellows, and browns.  I am also a huge fan of Authentique papers so it was the perfect choice to use the beautiful Authentique “Thankful” paper collection for my card.  Don’t these papers have the nicest fall colors?

Please visit the Bitten by the Bug 2 blog to see what my other talented design sisters have created to share with you this week.  Then link up your own wonderful projects!  We can all use a little inspiration, right?

Make this week wonderful!!   Laurie

  1. This card is so beautiful. This pumpkin cut is one of my favorites, also. I have made several projects with it, lately. I love these papers and the frame that the pumpkin is on. I think this would look great in a frame.
