Christmas Tree Challenge at BBTB2!

Posted on

Hello, Friends!

At Bitten by the Bug 2 this week the challenge is to use a Christmas Tree cut on your artwork.  I cut trees from the Flower Market, You Are Here and Christmas cartridges.   I have been seeing a lot of these “bridge” style cards online lately and thought it would be a great way to display those tree and deer cuts.

The paper is from the Beary Christmas collection from Close To My Heart along with New England Ivy cardstock and lots of white glitter paper.    The sentiment is from the Silver and Gold Cardmaking stamp set, also from Close To My Heart.

Now it’s your turn!  Stop over to Bitten by the Bug 2 and check out the other design team projects with Christmas Tree cuts.  Then make your own artwork and share, share, share!

Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome week!   Laurie

Fall Leaves at Bitten by the Bug 2

Hello Friends!

September is already here, Autumn is soon to arrive and that means colored leaves will soon be swirling in the air!  With that in mind, the challenge this week at Bitten by the Bug 2 is to create a project featuring AUTUMN LEAVES.  I used three cartridges–Artbooking, You Are Here and Thanksgiving to create my card.  I just love that swirly leaf image!

I also made another card with some other cuts, but I’m not as fond of this one.  Maybe a less “busy” background would help the Cricut images stand out a little more.  I used some Lori Whitlock paper for both cards.  Which one do you like the best?

Please stop over to Bitten by the Bug 2 and check out the other design team projects with AUTUMN LEAVES.  You will be sure to find some great inspiration!  Then link up your own artwork to share your talents!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope your day is filled with love, laughter and lots of fun!   Laurie

Highlighting You Are Here

Hello Friends!

A brand new Cricut cartridge, You Are Here, was released on August 1 in the new Annual Inspirations catalog.  It has many travel themed images, but that is certainly not all!  Take a look at some of the other images it has that are definitely NOT related to travel–

Do you know a hunter who has some “trophies” to showcase on a scrapbook page? And how awesome are those sports images?  I wish that winged shoe image was around when my boys were in track!

Thanks for stopping by today!  To purchase your own You Are Here cartridge, please shop HERE!   Thank you!   Laurie
