Graduations cards already? Really? Even though it is hard to imagine, the school year will soon be winding down and Graduation will be the focus for many families. I am hosting a Card Workshop on April 16 and 17 and here are a few of the Graduation cards that will be available for crafters to make.
These Graduation cards are just a few of the many types of cards you can make at the upcoming Card Workshop for just $2.00 a card. Others include Birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Wedding. Many cards can be personalized by choosing different colors or sentiments–the sky is the limit!
If you cannot attend the Card Workshop, I would be happy to make up kits of the cards you would like for $2.00 each plus shipping. I would also sell completed cards for $3.00 each or 4 for $10.00. Just let me know how I can help and stay tuned for pictures of other cards soon!
Make someone smile today! Laurie

It’s Halloween all over the place! This week on Bitten by the Bug 2, the Design Team was challenged to create a project with a Cricut bat image. I decided to make this cute Halloween card for my grandson. The card base is a folded bat from Artiste by Close To My Heart.
The bat-shaped card is made of paper from the Nevermore collection by Close To My Heart. The images were cut with Eggplant, Honey, Sunset, Pear, Black, and Slate CTMH cardstock. I found the cute images on Design Space and they are from the cartridge Trick or Treat. I added some google eyes and black ink around the perimeter of the card and it was done! The most difficult part of the whole project was assembling the images because some of the cuts were very minute!! Thank goodness for tweezers and my glue pen!
I think the card turned out really cute and I hope my grandson will like it too! He will turn two in January, so I think he will get a kick out of the little trick-or-treaters and the google eyes! Check out the other Design Team members’ projects at Bitten By The Bug 2 and link up your own “batty” projects!
Have a wonderful week! Laurie
It’s time to think about Halloween! Usually I’m not much for making or sending Halloween cards, but ’tis the season, right? Plus I participated in a Card Swap when the new catalog came out and my assigned stamp set was the cute Halloween set called Little Monsters. I used the new Nevermore paper along with Black and Slate cardstock and our beautiful shimmer trim in black, green and purple.
I made a fold-out picture frame to accentuate the cute little witch from the stamp set and colored her with our Shin Han markers. I think she really is “Spooky Cute”, don’t you?
This next card was one that I received from another consultant, Debbi Foley, from the Card Swap. She used the Steampunk Scoundrels stamp set for the background images and added some Cricut cuts from the Artbooking cartridge by Close To My Heart.
I love how she used the green shimmer trim for the grass and the Slate twine and clear gems are the perfect accent! I also love the distressing she did on the Eggplant cardstock. I need to remember to use this technique more often! Thanks, Debi Foley, for the inspiration!
I hope you enjoyed these cute Halloween cards! More Halloween artwork will be on the blog soon! Laurie
