Springtime Wishes Part 3

Hello Friends!

Last week I wrote a couple of blog posts showing ways to use the new Springtime Wishes stamp set and coordinating Thin Cuts.  The first post showed a Congrats card using Watercolor pencils to color the stamps.  The next post showed a Best Wishes card using Shin Han markers.  Today I would like to share a Thank You card.

I used the new Charlotte paper collection by Close To My Heart along with Whisper, Sorbet, and White Daisy cardstock.  I cut several inches off the front panel of my card base and attached one of the decorative cards that are included in the paper pack so that it extended beyond the cut edge of card.  The sentiment is also attached so that it extends past the edge.  I think this gives a nice note of interest to the card design!

To make the flowers, I first painted some layers of color onto watercolor paper using CTMH Watercolor Paints.  When the paper was dry, I placed the Thin Cuts on it and ran them through the Cuttlebug to quickly and easily cut the shape.  I then stamped the coordinating image in Slate ink and attached them to the card.

Treasured Puffies were the perfect way to embellish this interesting, yet beautiful card!  Check out the pictures below of the Springtime Wishes stamp set and coordinating Thin Cuts.  Those images with a blue outline are the ones that have a matching Thin Cut die.
