Springtime Wishes Part 2

Hello Friends!

Yesterday I shared a card I made with the Springtime Wishes stamp set and coordinating Thin Cuts.  Today I have another card with another way to use these great new products from Close To My Heart.  Instead of cutting around your stamped images, you simply run the Thin Cuts and paper through a Cuttlebug or other die cutting machine and voila, a perfect cut!

Again I used the beautiful Charlotte paper along with Sorbet cardstock and Slate ink to stamp the sentiments.  For this card I colored the flowers with my Shin Han markers in several colors.  I am still not very good at blending with these alcohol markers, but I’m getting better!

To make the card design a little more interesting, I cut about 1 inch off the front of the card base. Then I attached the flowers so that they hung off the edge of the card.  I added some retired sparkles to the centers of the flowers and on the sentiments.  I think this will make a great wedding card!

Thin Cuts are really great, especially for crafters who don’t have a Cricut or if you want to save the hassle of getting out a bigger machine, mats and programming a Cricut.  The blue lines around the images on the stamp set indicate that they have a matching Thin Cut.

Come back in a couple of days to see one more project that I made with the Springtime Wishes stamp set and Thin Cuts!  Or better yet, sign up at the right for an email notification whenever there is a new Crafty Sisters Creations post so you won’t miss a thing!

Thanks for stopping by today and have an amazing day!   Laurie
