Spring Flowering Bulbs at BBTB2

Hello Friends!

As I’m writing this post, there is a blizzard warning for much of Nebraska!  Luckily we are not supposed to get much of the white stuff in the eastern part of the state.  So even though the weather here still feels like winter, we are celebrating Spring Flowering Bulbs at Bitten by the Bug 2!  Check out the gorgeous spring flower projects by the BBTB2 design team–they are sure to spread a little sunshine!

I used the Picturesque Cricut cartridge to create this card.  The sentiment is from a Close To My Heart retired stamp set.  The background is embossed with the CTMH Scallop embossing folder.

And since I needed an extra dose of Springtime, I made a couple of other projects.  The card above is from the Creative Holiday Cards cartridge.  I love the cheerful tulips! Again I used a retired Close To My Heart stamp set for the birthday sentiment.

Isn’t this daffodil sweet?  I made it with Canary Paper Fundamentals, a specialty paper product from Close To My Heart that has a print on one side and a shiny embossed pattern on the other.  I think it makes the perfect daffodil!

Now to feel even more like Spring, hop on over to the Bitten by the Bug 2 website to see the projects made by the other design team members.  Then link up your own artwork for everyone to share!

There is only one week left in the Stampaganza promotion at Close To My Heart.  Don’t miss out on getting your free stamp set!  Shop HERE to get your deals!

  1. love all your projects this week – I think you are ready for Spring to arrive. I need to look at those cuts on DS. Beautiful. My tulips are almost done, my grass is green, yet I am hoping for more rain.

  2. Beautiful springy goodness for sure! Love ALL of them, although the daffodil is my have! (All my daffodils are in bloom at the moment, which makes me smile every day 😉

  3. Both of your cards are just beautiful Laurie!!! And your daffodil (which I have always called buttercups) is just wonderful!!!! 🙂

  4. Oh wow, lots of spring goodness. Every one of your projects is just as awesome as the last one. I love them all!
