Shaker Thank You Card

Hello Friends!

This week at Bitten by the Bug 2 the challenge is to create a Graduation or Thank You project.  Since Graduations are pretty much over here in Nebraska, I decided to make a Thank You card instead.  I found some sequins when I was cleaning in my craft room the other day and thought a shaker thank you card would be just the ticket!

I used Zoe paper from Close To My Heart along with Lagoon and Sunset cardstock.  The frame is a cut from Art Philosophy and I welded the “thanks” from Artiste onto the frame in Design Space.  I cut a second “thanks” in Sunset and glued it on top to give it strength and contrast.  I used a Flip Flap to hold the multicolored sequins and attached it to the back of the frame.  Dimensional foam around the frame makes it stand out and allows the sequins to shake around.  A final bit of doodling with a Black marker and it was done!

Did you hear the news that several of the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridges (Art Philosophy, Artiste, and Artfully Sent) will be retiring and are only available on a “while supplies last” basis?  If you have any of these on your wish list, don’t delay.  Predictions are that they will not last long!  Shop HERE.

  1. Very creative to weld the thanks and cut it twice. It sure would made it sturdy. Love the colors too

  2. I love the pretty colors of your thank you card. Nice job on the doodling. I think everyone loves a shaker card. You just have to play with it!
