Revisiting Zoe

Hello Friends!

While making cards for my upcoming Card Workshop on April 16-17, the Zoe paper collection started calling my name!  I loved this paper and made lots of projects with it last Fall.  Amazingly, this Spring I discovered that I STILL love Zoe!

The design for this card came from a project I saw on Pinterest.  I really liked the way the panels on the card are offset, making a nice background for the center panel and sentiment.  The Happy Birthday speech balloon is from the stamp set Birthday Wishes.  A little Glacier Twine was all that was needed to finish this cheerful card.  This design would be appropriate for many different occasions by just changing out the sentiment.

For the next card I wanted to show how Zoe could be also used for a masculine themed card.  I really like the gray plaid paper paired with Cranberry cardstock.  I stamped the diagonal background stamp from In the Background, a retired Close To My Heart stamp set and added Slate Twine and some round Durable Studs, also retired.

Who knew Zoe could be so versatile?  Both of these cards will be available for you to make at my upcoming Card Workshop.  I made birthday cards, but you will be able to choose any sentiment you’d like when you make the cards at the Workshop.

Thanks for stopping by today and remember, when in doubt, add bling!!   Laurie
