Patriotic Stars at BBTB2!

Hello Friends!

We are seeing stars at Bitten by the Bug 2 this week–patriotic stars, that is!  In honor of the Fourth of July, the BBTB2 design team was asked to create projects with STARS.  I have been wanting to scrapbook my grandson’s first Independence Day, so this was the perfect opportunity!  Stop over at Bitten by the Bug 2 to check out the other design team projects with stars.  Then link up your own art for everyone to enjoy!

The cartridges I used were Martha Stewart’s Holiday Cake and Seasonal Cake as well as Family Album.  I used cute Doodlebug paper, ribbon, and embellishments on a Slate Gray cardstock background by Close To My Heart.

I wasn’t sure if I would like the Slate background, even though there was a lot of gray in the paper and I still don’t know if I love it.  But I think I just need to let it go and focus on the pictures and story they portray instead of the colors.  Hard for me to do sometimes, since I’m a bit of a creative perfectionist!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I appreciate your interest in Crafty Sisters Creations.  Always remember that something WONDERFUL is about to happen!   Laurie
