Owl card for BBTB2 Challenge

My card today is a fun little owl who is sending out a “way to go” woot, woot!  I am entering it in the Bitten By The Bug 2 Owl Challenge.  I used the Cricut Paisley cartridge to cut the owl and all the layers, then perched him on a branch cut from the Artbooking cartridge.  The “woot woot” is also found on the Paisley cartridge.  The paper I used for the owl is from an Echo Park pack called For The Record 2, which I have had for a couple of years.  In order to see the flowers on the owl’s wings and the ruffled feathers on his chest I outlined the layers with Gelly Roll pens.  It’s a subtle change that is hard to see in the pictures, but does add a little definition.  Finally, I embossed the blue background cardstock with the D’vine Swirl Cuttlebug folder and popped everything up with dimensional tape.

Thanks for stopping by!
