Last week I shared a couple of cards I made with the Kaleidoscope Workshop on the Go. I had lots of paper left over and a couple of stamp sets that I hadn’t used yet, so what’s a girl to do? Make more cards, of course!! The stamped images on the first card came from Safari Ballet, an adorable A sized stamp set for only $6.95. Who doesn’t love a hippo in a tutu?
The next card is also made with Kaleidoscope paper and the stamped images are from the Diamonds are Forever stamp set. The main image has what looks like a doodled line around the perimeter so I decided to try my hand at drawing a free form border around the card and several other elements to match. Not sure I like the look, but it doesn’t hurt to step outside my comfort zone at times!
The final card is a design I saw on Pinterest long ago. I’m sorry I don’t know who to credit for the idea, but it’s too cute not to share! I simply layered strips of Kaleidoscope paper on a separate piece of cardstock and popped it up with dimensional foam. The 3D bow is from the Artistry cartridge by Close To My Heart and I used the new embossing folder, Confetti, for the background.
