It’s Fall at Bitten By The Bug 2!

Hello Friends!

This week at Bitten By The Bug 2 we are celebrating Autumn!  We were asked to use the words “Fall” or “Autumn” in our projects.  I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with since Fall is one of my favorite seasons.  Please link up your projects and join in the fun at BBTB2!  I hope you enjoy this simple layout I made of my grandson enjoying last year’s autumn leaves.

I used an unlikely Cricut cartridge, Mickey and Friends for the leaves.  That’s one of the MANY things I love about Design Space–when you do a search for an image, they just pop up with no searching through handbooks.  I would have never looked specifically at Mickey and Friends for a fall leaf image, but the perfect one for my needs was there–who knew!!

The photo frame cut with the word “fall” came from Artbooking by Close To My Heart which is such a great cartridge for scrapbookers!  I used an old fall themed paper pack from Die Cuts With a View that was just perfect for my clean and simple design.

Be awesome today!   Laurie

  1. Sometimes – it is simple, yet stunning – that is the case with your gorgeous fall layout. Love that frame. I have used those leaves before and they are perfect. Great color choices.

  2. Your grandson is such a cutie. I love this background paper and how it brings out all the fall colors and love the layout design. Such pretty fall leaves, too.

  3. Laurie this layout is totally stunning! I LOVE everything about this. I tend to make everything too busy and I could learn a lot from your style. This is just stunning! Love the paper, the cuts, everything. And what a sweet baby photo!!!

  4. Laurie the layout is gorgeous! And that cutie patootie on the front is ADORBS! I too love Fall. By the way, I cannot recall one project where I have not used at least one cut from one of my CTMH cartridges. They are so versatile! Thanks for sharing!
