I am so excited to be sharing my first project for the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog! The theme this week is “Life is a Picnic”. I used paper from the Hopscotch paper pack from Close To My Heart along with Sunset, Crystal Blue, Indian Corn Blue, Black and several other CTMH cardstock colors. Unfortunately this paper is no longer available.
I found a picnic themed scrapbook page on the Family Album Cricut cartridge and adapted it to my project. I added another title oval and wrote the sentiment with my Cricut Explore, added some watermelon cuts from Preserves, a couple of arrows from the Hopscotch Complements set and a Flaxen twine bow. Of course I had to add pictures of my grandson who truly makes our lives a “picnic”!!
Please head over to the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog to see the other artwork created by the Design Team this week. And please consider playing along with our challenges. I’ll bet there are lots of Fourth of July picnic pictures out there just begging to be put on a scrapbook page!
