Happy Birthday, Crafty Sister!

Today is my crafty sister’s birthday so I am sharing the card I made for her.  I decided to try a new technique that I have not done before.  I was inspired by a YouTube video by Jennifer McGuire from quite some time ago.  She always has beautiful and creative cards to share with her followers!  I used 3 stamps from Close To My Heart along with CTMH Lagoon and Goldrush Exclusive Inks and Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Pale Tomato, to create the diagonal lines.  I think it turned out fairly well for my first effort, considering that I did not use a ruler and I suffer from double-vision! Lol!   I think next time I will use a gridline. 🙂  I added Studio Calico wood veneer arrows and a heart which I colored in the same inks used for stamping, and embossed the sentiment with Zing Embossing Powder in Rouge.  The panel was adhered with adhesive dimensional squares to the golden yellow cardstock from DCWV.

Happy birthday, Laurie!  Love you!

  1. What a great card! Love the nice clean look and the way you used your stamps. I am your newest follower and look forward to seeing more of your crafty work. Much success to both of you in all your crafty endeavors.
