Halloween “Boos” at Heart 2 Heart Challenges!

Hello Friends!

The theme for the challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges is “BOO” and the Design Team has been busy creating Halloween projects with that theme.  Check out their awesome artwork using Close To My Heart products!

For my project, I decided to dig into my old photo albums and snag a couple of photos of my boys when they were young.  Since I started scrapbooking when my youngest was in high school, I really have LOTS of photos of them as “littles” that are just begging to be put on scrapbook pages!  I used several Cricut cartridges to create this layout:  Artistry, Artbooking, Creepy Critters and Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art.  Design Space makes it so easy to work with lots of carts at a time which is just one of the many reasons I love my Explore!

My layout was perfect for using the Nevermore paper collection along with Black, Eggplant, Honey and Whisper cardstock–all from Close To My Heart.  I still giggle to myself when I think of how uncomfortable my youngest son must have been in his peapod costume.  But I worked too hard to make it and he was too cute wearing it that it wasn’t going to come off till the end of the night!

I’ll bet you all have some great Halloween projects too that you could share at the Heart 2 Heart Challenge blog!  It’s easy and fun to join along!

Make someone smile today!   Laurie

  1. Oh my goodness, your boys are just adorable! Cute, cute pictures. I love the way you can use many different cartridges so easily on the Explore, too. I forget which ones that I used. All of your images are amazing and come together so well. Love your bats!
