Girl’s Birthday Card

I made a feminine birthday card to enter in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week.  They had an awesome sketch to follow and I have several ideas for other cards to make using this same sketch.  I used paper from the Authentique “Sweetness” collection and ice cream cone stickers from Michael’s.  On the front I cut “It’s Your Day” from the Cricut Classic Font cartridge.  On the inside I layered paper scraps, cut a banner from the Artiste cartridge and stamped the matching sentiment using Close to My Heart stamps in Lagoon ink.  I love how easy it is to cut a shape with the Cricut and then stamp it with the coordinating CTMH stamps.  Check out all three of the Close to My Heart Cricut cartridges (Art Philosophy, Artiste, and Artbooking) in the online Idea Book here.

Be creative today!  Laurie
