Fall Leaves Challenge at BBTB2

Hello, Friends!

This week the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge is to create a project using fall leaves.  Since November means Thanksgiving and one of my favorite things about Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie, and once I start thinking about pumpkin pie, I just can’t stop, it was natural for me to make a pie box for this challenge!  I cut the box from the Artiste cartridge by Close To My Heart in that beautiful Sangria paper.

The leaves were cut from both the Artiste and Artistry cartridges from CTMH in Cocoa, Pomegranate, Saffron, Fern and Sunset cardstock.  I grouped them together in a cluster on top of the box.

I added some Flaxen twine and a retired wooden CTMH embellishment to the middle of the leaves.  I think it turned out very nice and the colors of the Sangria paper are just perfect for Fall projects!  But it won’t be any comparison to the yummy pumpkin pie that will soon be in my tummy!

Check out the other design team projects at Bitten by the Bug 2 and consider linking up your own Fall Leaf projects!

Remember to give thanks every day!   Laurie
