Welcome to the Crafty Sisters Creations blog! Today I would like to share an Easter box card that my friend asked me to make for her granddaughter. This was a really fun one to make!
I used Close To My Heart Paper Fundamentals in Honey for the base of the box card along with Lagoon, Gypsy, Pear and Pixie.
The cute Easter images are from the Close To My Heart stamp set called Hopping By. I stamped the images in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my Shin Han markers. I then attached them to the cross pieces inside the box with strips of acetate. I like this technique so much because it allows the pop ups to appear suspended since the acetate is clear.
The great thing about these box cards is that they stand up as a 3 dimensional object, but also fold flat to fit into an envelope for mailing. I hope the little cutie who receives this box card will enjoy it. I think I know of a little two year old in Florida who needs one of these too!
Have the best day ever! Laurie
