Cute Alligator Birthday Card

Hello Friends!

This week at Bitten by the Bug 2 the challenge is to create a project using any cute animal Cricut cut.  Well, I don’t know if there is anything cuter than a dancing alligator, do you?  I needed to make a birthday card for a young girl and I think this one will be perfect!  The cute little alligator came from the cartridge Twinkle Toes, one I have never used before.

I embossed the white background with a Happy Birthday embossing folder and used a stamp from Close To My Heart for the sentiment.  The only embellishments needed were a few white gems, some coordinating banners and little white glitter paper.

Head over to Bitten by the Bug 2 to see the cute animal projects made by my design team sisters to get your own creative juices flowing.  Then share your own projects with us at BBTB2–the world could sure use a few cute animal projects these days, don’t you think?

Hope your week is off to a wonderful start!   Laurie

  1. Awww, I love, love this dancing alligator birthday card. Such pretty bright colors and love the embossing, too.

  2. have to say I have never made a dancing alligator, but wouldn’t it be fun to use for a zoo layout to add some whimsey. Love how you embossed and added the cut and bling – perfect birthday card.
