Colorful Wedding Card

I was hired to make a card for an upcoming wedding.  The colors on the invitation are red, green, and yellow floral.  I loved the Mojo Monday card sketch MOJO 353 and decided to base my card on their sketch.  I am also entering this card in the Die Cutting Divas challenge where I needed to use a Cricut cut on a wedding or anniversary card.  Then I noticed that the CAS-ual Fridays blog had a challenge to use hearts in summer colors on a card.  This wedding card fits all three challenges, I believe!

I used Echo Park “Walk in the Park” paper for this card along with some red cardstock from my stash.  One edge was punched with a border punch.  I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking cricut cartridge to cut the panel of yellow hearts and embellished some of the hearts with sparkly heart brads.  I love the bright, summery colors on this card and I hope the newlyweds enjoy my creation!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Laurie

  1. Great cut of all the hearts with your Cricut! Hopefully you didn’t have to pull too many pieces out : ) Thanks so much for joining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
