Christmas Cards Using Colored Images

Hello, Friends!

Yesterday I showed you the “in progress” images that I colored with the Close To My Heart Watercolor Pencils and Shin Han Markers.  Today I want to share the finished Christmas cards that I made to feature those images.  I used random paper from my tub of Christmas scrapbook paper and embellishments.

This snowman image was colored with Watercolor Pencils and blended with the Blending Pen.  I used some metal dies and my Cuttlebug to cut the layers for my focal image.  My friend, Ellen, gave me the dies a while back and they were just perfect to use for this project!  Thank you, Ellen!!  I also embossed the green background paper with a snowflake embossing folder.  The sentiment on the inside is from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set by CTMH.

The Santa on this card was colored with Watercolor Pencils and the sentiment is also from Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set.  I embossed the white panel with the same snowflake embossing folder and the sentiment on the inside is from Believe in Christmas by CTMH.

This image on this final card was colored with Shin Han Markers.  The sentiment on the front and the inside both came from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set.  I think the gold accents really add a punch to this design!

I hope that showing you the process of stamping and coloring images with Watercolor Pencils and Shin Han Markers has been helpful.  You can purchase any of the supplies and stamp sets I used by visiting my online shopping site HERE.  Be adventurous and give some new techniques a try in your own crafting!

Make today special!   Laurie
