Celebrating Trees at BBTB2

Hello Friends!

This week at Bitten by the Bug 2 we are celebrating TREES by using a Cricut tree cut on our projects.  I am hosting the challenge this week, so hop on over to see the other Design Team projects!

For my project I used a tree cut from the Artbooking cartridge by Close To My Heart in three different ways.  The first technique was to use the cut as a mask and spray over it with re-inkers and water mixed in the CTMH spray pens.  I added Sparkles and a sympathy sentiment to finish the card.

For the final card, I again used the spray pens filled with water and re-inkers to give the background a speckled look.  It’s a little hard to see in the photos, but the splotchy background is quite striking.  I added the same trees cut from Paper Fundamentals and another sentiment from the Kiss It Better stamp set.

Have a ridiculously amazing day!!   Laurie
