Here is another Valentine card that I made from a free cut recently available on Cricut Design Space. I always enjoy trying out some of their projects and this was a fun one to make! If you want to make a fancy, swirly Valentine card for someone, this is just for you. You could even add a little glitter to make it even more “blingy”LOL!
This card used all three features available with the Cricut Explore–cutting, scoring and drawing–all on one project without having to reload the mat!
I hope you are having fun looking at all the beautiful, cute and clever Valentine’s Day cards that are floating around on Pinterest and other blogs. Get some inspiration and make your own cards for a one-of-a-kind way to spread the love this week!

Valentine’s Day is next week! Do you have your cards made? Here are a couple that I played around with today. Have I ever said that I LOVE Design Space? It is so easy to search for images, design online and actually see what your project will look like before you cut!
The cuts came from various cartridges and I honestly didn’t keep track of which ones I used. Cardstock is from Close To My Heart and the heart embossing folder is also from CTMH.
Thank you for visiting the blog today! Spread a little sunshine wherever you go! Laurie
This week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges, we were asked to create a project with a Falling in Love theme. Well, since Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, I decided to make a traditional Love card for someone special. However, I also have a secret love–the Sugar Rush paper collection!! There is just something about Pomegranate with Sea Glass and a sprinkle of Whisper and Blossom that is hard for me to resist!! And a second secret love I have is embossing folders, so I had to use a variety of those too!
You can find all the supplies I used to make this card HERE.
Please stop by Heart 2 Heart Challenges and you can Fall in Love with the other fabulous design team projects. Be sure to share your projects with us too–we love to see your artwork!
Thanks for stopping today–spread lots of sunshine! Laurie
I had a blast creating the card kit this month using the new Sugar Rush paper from Close To My Heart! The papers are so cute and lend themselves perfectly to Birthday and Valentine themed projects. This kit contains 16 cards including 8 Birthday and 8 Valentine cards. I will precut, stamp and emboss all pieces so all you have to do is open a bag and assemble–so easy!! I hope you have as much fun working with this paper as I did when making the cards!
Cost for the kit is $25.00 plus shipping. You may pay through PayPal (I’ll send you a link when you order) or cash or check if you want to pick them up at my home in Crete.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope your day is truly AWESOME!! Laurie
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Today I’d like to share the Valentine Pop Up Box card that I made for my husband. These are so fun to make and I love that they stand up on their own yet fold flat to fit into an envelope for delivery. They look pretty impressive in person!
I had some Authentique Valentine paper and embellishments in my craftroom that I thought would be perfect for this project. Next to Close To My Heart paper, I am very partial to Authentique paper. There’s just something about the texture and designs that I love!
I think my husband will really like this card! It’s actually a card AND home décor in one–you can’t go wrong with that!
You could make this pop up box card for any occasion. I was asked to use this design to make some table decorations for a customer who is hosting a retirement celebration–can’t wait to get started on those!
Wishing you lots of LOVELY moments on this Valentine’s Day and EVERYDAY!! Laurie

Today I would like to share the Valentine I made for my grandson. The inspiration for this card came from Melanie Brown at Courtney Lane, Margi Gilbertson at Artsy Margi and a cute little sock monkey I found at Walmart.
I used the sock monkey cut from Artfully Sent by Close To My Heart along with Cranberry, Glacier, Chocolate and Black cardstock. The “love you” stamp is from the January Stamp of the Month stamp set. The only embellishment I used was a red enamel heart from CTMH.
Here is the inside of the kraft card base along with a Happy Valentine stamp from Close To My Heart. I can’t wait to see how my grandson likes the stuffed sock monkey and matching card! Of course, he had to get a couple of books, too. The former teacher in me demands that he have a book or two for every holiday!!
Today is an awesome day–make lots of people smile! Laurie
