I finally got out the Kaleidoscope Workshop on the Go to make a few birthday cards. Can I say I really had fun with this bright, springy paper?!! I usually like to make A7 sized cards (6.5 in. x 5 in.) instead of the standard A2 sized cards (5.5 in. x 4.25 in.) which are included in the WOTG, so I had to adjust my designs to fit the larger card base. Here are the results:
The coordinating cardstock colors are Pear and Pixie along with Canary, Slate, and Pixie ink. I added some green Shimmer Trim and Pink Enamel Gems as embellishments.
For the next card, I used lots of Glacier cardstock, thinking that the blue would make it appropriate for a boy too. Again, I added green Shimmer Trim, a zip strip and some Glacier Twine.
The Kaleidoscope paper collection is so bright and cheerful–just perfect for all your spring cards and scrapbook pages! And the excusive stamp set that comes with the Workshop on the Go is really awesome! I know I will get lots of use from this stamp set when making birthday cards in the future.
The Workshops on the Go from CTMH are really great! Not only do you get an exclusive stamp set, but several “extras” are included in each, such as Shimmer Trim, embellishments and card bases. They make crafting so quick and easy since everything you need is included in the kit! These cards (and many more) will be available to make at my upcoming Card Workshop in April. Check back soon as I have two more cards to share that I made with Kaleidoscope. So very cute!!
I hope you all have a very blessed Easter!! Laurie
